Does anyone else find it awkward when your mother is drunk?

Do you find it hard to deal with? How do you handle it?Does anyone else find it awkward when your mother is drunk?
~yes, this is very hard to deal with. Your mother is the one you always expect to be the protector, the one with the right answers, but when you see them drunk, they are out of control and incapable of taking care of you or themselves. I know this is very hard. I answered your other question about your mother. Please be patient with her. You never know what she is going through. Be there for her. Maybe it's time for you to be the strong one~Does anyone else find it awkward when your mother is drunk?
my mom has been at most buzzed around me. which magnifies her emotion. so she is either, really happy or really btichy.

though i have seen her on valium, (before her surgery) if i saw like that every day, it would stop being fun fast, and be sad.
Handle it by attempting to get her to a rehab and know that this is ';her'; life not yours. You are not responsible for her choices; she is. I imagine this is a difficult situation. Perhaps family members could be of assistance.
Very. Mums are supposed to be role models for their children.

When she is caught being drunk, her motherly impression is destroyed and gone forever.

Never had seen my mom go drunk, and I may not be able to imagine what it is exactly like to have my mom being drunk. But, if I were the son of a drunken mother, I'd raise hell to sober her up for good.
