Do you follow the approach of this gentleman?! :D
In the supermarket was a man pushing a cart which contained a screaming, bellowing baby. The gentleman kept repeating softly, ';Don't get excited, Albert; don't scream, Albert; don't yell, Albert; keep calm, Albert.';
A woman standing next to him said, ';You certainly are to be commended for trying to soothe your son, Albert.';
The man looked at her and said, ';Lady, I'm Albert!';Mothers, how do you deal with your children's temper tantrums?
Lolzzzzz

in answer to the question
I do the time out corner (i.e a certain mat i make her go and sit on it)- one minute for each year of her life and it does calm her down
Or she is sent to her room for time out and quiet time
if out in public- I smile at myself to destress myself and I give her the worst looks in the world and tell her to calm down. If In certain places I speak in a hard but quiet tone..

shes so bad tempered that i have two toffee sweets given to me for her from the head Imam-Egyptian old guy- of the main London Mosque..she took a temper tantrum infront of the mens prayer section..the imam came out to calm her down...he gave up in the end and told me that she needs lots of Quraan prayed with her for her stubborness- so after I carried her out of the mosque -still screaming- I kept the sweets he had given her and I will give her them when she is older to show her how difficult this was as an experience.
